Turkey Creek Motocross track Sat. July 9th

Austin's Thames is planning on being up there he says, I'm hoping to be able to go and see if they've worked on the track any, maybe do some suspension tuning. Not looking like my quad's gonna be ready but I'm trying!  Anyone else wanna go check out a pretty cool motocross track?

i dont know where turkey creek is but daniel trav and i are planning on riding this weeked its kind of up in the air right now for when and where but it would be nice to see u there its been awhile since ive been on my quad , like 3 or 4 months man work has been kickin my ass but im ready to get it in!!!!

Turkey Creek MX
From Columbia:
ABOUT 1 HR

- Take I-20 West
- Exit #18 (HWY 19) and turn right (North)
- Go about 4 miles and bear left, still on HWY 19
- About 6 miles, at light, HWY 19 ends & HWY 25      begins, continue through light on 25.
- Another 4 miles, just past Edgefield Inn, bear left     onto truck route 25.
- Go 2 miles to stop sign, turn left onto 23.
- About 1 mile turn right onto Walker Rd.
- Another 6 miles turn right onto Morgan Bussey Rd

- Track is on the right.

 

If it's too far for you guys I myself have more fun riding trails so CAW and Palmetto motorsports are cool too!  No trails at Turkey Creek.  Just a big track in the owners' backyard. 

This is where I'm at with my countershaft work right now...  Welded some extra length onto it and cutting threads for a nut to hold the sprocket on.  First try and the entire welded on piece twisted off.  Made me REALLY confident... not...  but I'm trying again.

Might have to say fugit and bring a KX500 and a Yamaha XT!

what size tire u need, not sure whats on my cr250 but we can take it off if u want. its got good tread, a little dry rotted. but i have a tube for it too i think.

Oh no, thanks though!  :)  I've got another tire just outta time!  First thing's first, if I'm gonna work all night and then ride tomorrow I need sleep!  Then it still needs handlebars and a flywheel at least, maybe something else once I look at it really close.

KX runs!  I'd forgotten the clutch doesn't release completely so it'll be a little tricky but oh well!

How's your quad coming Wink?

Everybody else ready?  Anyone need anything?

Can't promise an exact time I'll be leaving work but probably out by 6am so lemme know what's going on for the morning and if need be I'll bring a generator to run the welder @ PMSC ;)

yea come weld this tie rod for me in the morning. austin's shit wont fit i already looked. i have 2 that are too long. and 1 that is the right length

No prob as long as it's steel.  Just got home from work so it's gonna be a minute though.  Gotta get changed, feed dogs, load up, cash check, and get gas.
